How is it 2020?

March 15th, 2020 · No Comments

I know I promised an article back in 2018. My apologies for not getting back with that. I’ve been extremely busy with so much since. In 2018 I transferred to a new position in my company. The work load was pretty overwhelming. Couple that with school and time just flies by. I also made a life change and became a vegetarian. In 2019 I was just as busy and the year was full of more challenges and changes. However, aside from residual pains left from my brain tumor and a couple of back injuries I’ve managed to stay fairly healthy.

This year started out great. My wife and I went on vacation. It was a bit of risk because the coronavirus was just starting to make its mark in China and we were actually in Tokyo, Japan. We really needed to get away though. At the end of January, we took off for 10 days. On our trip we took all of the proper safety precautions. We washed our hands regularly and even wore protective masks, which if you’ve ever visited Japan they wear them anyway. We returned home and both of us were fine….. Until I wasn’t beginning February 26th. My birthday… To make a long story short, I ended up getting very sick until March 11th. During that time I went to the doctor because my symptoms became pretty serious. I requested to be tested for covid-19, but I was denied. They told me I was over the 14-day mark. Seriously? I’m 99% sure I just fought off the coronavirus and I’m happy to say I beat it.

I hope whoever reads this stays safe and healthy. Take it from me, this virus is not being exaggerated. Hopefully I’ll be back sooner than later.
