Stay positive and never give up hope

August 30th, 2007 · 1 Comment

I got a touching email today from the brain tumor mailing list.  Here it is:

(I was) Diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme in my R frontal lobe I was
given 3-6 mos to live by one doc. That was 20 years ago, hmmm…..  I
wonder what woulda happened if I had listened to him and given up,
stopped going to the dentist, dropped out of school (my senior yr of
hs), become overly promiscuous hanging out with loose women and having a
really good time?

Guess I might now be an ignorant man with a penicillin perscription, and
no teeth but with a really big smile on my face! (nudge, nudge 🙂 LOL

Axiom: No one knows what the future holds, and God doesn’t wear green
scrubs.

Keep On Keepin’ On (KOKO!!!!)….Matthew

    Thank you Matthew,
truly. I was diagnosed with GBM six months ago, and so far have been feeling better and better ever since surgery.

Stories like yours act like fuel every time I hear them.
Sing it loud, maybe we can change this thing, since the green scrubs don’t seem to be coming up with many answers.

    God Bless,
    Oscar
